YOUR HOME'S OWN GUIDE
Write the steps and expected settings that suit your home or cabin. Add guide photos to help identify an item or explain an instruction. Choose which checks and photos are required.

THREE DEPARTURE TYPES
Set up Short absence, Long trip and Seasonal close. Each uses the instructions you have confirmed for that type of departure.

NEW PHOTOS FOR EACH CHECK
Take new photos in AwayNote during the current check. Guide photos stay separate, and old departure photos are never carried forward. Saving a photo and marking an item checked are separate actions.

A CLEAR RECORD OF WHAT HAPPENED
Keep checked, not checked, problem, skipped and not applicable results distinct. Add reasons for exceptions and see what remains unfinished. Closed checks stay in your history with their recorded times.

WORKS OFFLINE
Create guides, take photos and save checks without an internet connection. Your records stay on your device. No account, login or ads.

SHARE A PDF WITH FAMILY
Preview a report with or without photos, then choose an app on your phone to share it. The recipient does not need AwayNote to read the PDF. It records the check at a particular time; it is not live home status, family synchronisation or a delivery or read receipt.

KEEP A RESTORABLE BACKUP
Export your guides, checks, notes and photos as a ZIP backup to a location you choose. Restore copies alongside your existing records. Backups are not encrypted. Keep a copy away from the phone if you want protection against losing the device. A PDF report is not a restorable backup.

Available in English, Swedish, Norwegian Bokmål and Finnish. Your own instructions keep the language you wrote them in.

AwayNote records what you checked. It does not certify that a property is safe. You decide the appropriate instructions for your home; there is no universal command to turn off water, electricity or heating.
