About this app

Kashat is a lending app that offers small loans for individuals to manage their short-term liquidity needs for their small businesses.

Kashat starts out with small loan amounts, and every time the customer repays on time, the customer’s credit score increases, providing an opportunity to borrow a higher amount on subsequent loan applications. Loans start from 300 EGP and go up to 2,000 EGP.
Once the loan application is approved, the customer can withdraw his money through several digital platforms such as: Fawry, Vodafone/Orange/Etisalat cash, or bank digital wallets.

Loan Tenor and Fees:

Kashat customers who take loans are charged with service fees that range from 10% to 28% depending on the loan amount and the customer level. Thus, the maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR) charged for the loan is 28%.

Additionally, there are admin fees of 8 EGP that is deducted from the principal loan amount for processing fees at the time of disbursing the loan.

Loan Example:

If the customer takes a loan of 300 EGP, the principal amount that he will take into his digital wallet or through Fawry will be 292 EGP (After deducting the Admin fees for payment processing).
- Default Repayment Plan: The applied APR to this loan is 28% assuming repayment after 90 days, thus, the customer will repay (300 + 84 = 384 EGP).
- Early Repayment Plan: If the customer chooses to repay early after 2 weeks, the applied APR will be 10%, and thus the customer will repay (300+ 30= 330 EGP) in 2 weeks.

Loan Repayment plans:

Duration 91 Days subject to approval
- Customers can repay the loans between 90 days till 120 days from disbursement date, over 1 or 2 installments.
- Customers are also allowed to repay earlier than 30 days (starting from 2 weeks from the loan date) and be eligible to pay for lower service fees.

The full loan repayment period is 120 days.

After the loan limit approval, Kashat will generate a voucher which you can cash out from the mentioned disbursement channels: Fawry, Vodafone/Orange/ Etisalat Cash or the bank wallets.

Ratings and reviews

The application does not connect at all ! And it has been like this for months now !!! There's no way of paying back and the interest keeps on adding up, and there no way what's so ever to contact you . There's no phone number or email address.. Nothing ! How can over reach anyone getting this company to close an account !

I'm going to report this joke of an app, it collects very personal and sensitive information including private permissions on the phone and that's it. No account activation or anything else, I've waited 10 days, made over 5 calls for customer service and 3 complaints to technical support, nothing. (Edit) : it's been solved now 7th of February.

Worst financing app ever, as it has a real error that can't take place, they even can't solve it even after I told them for more than a month, I paid my installement through smart wallet before its due date by around 10 days but Kashat didn't respond and kept it as if I didn't pay and until now they are considering me missing the payment and late, I paid it on 25 August 2022 and they said 7 working days and everything will be solved, and nothing happened so far, don't use it whatever what
