Above the farm, the food is flying. Eggs, tomatoes, carrots, pumpkins, apples and corn sail upward in slow arcs, and a glowing trail follows your finger, parting whatever it touches into neat halves. Carry one motion through a whole row and the counter climbs happily. Mind what rides along, though. Rotten eggs and lit firecrackers climb with the good stuff, and a cut into either costs one of three lives, the same price paid when a fresh piece is left to fall away. A slow motion feather, a coin magnet and a golden egg drift by to steady a good run, and swapping blades brings small extra touches. The later rounds fill the whole sky at once, but there is no rush getting there.
A blade of light for the flying harvest
