About this app

CoTimer is the shared clock for any group—households, partners, roommates, small teams, and corporate pods. One timer everyone can see, ring for, and finish together. Built for people who don’t want a calendaring system: start something now, and let whoever can handle it handle it.

FOR PEOPLE WHO HATE PLANNING IN ADVANCE
You don’t have to assign a week of chores or commit to a shift board. Start a timer when something actually starts—laundry, a meeting handoff, “check the oven,” or “baby will probably need us again in 45.” When it fires, phones ring. Whoever is free marks Done. Who can’t take it marks Can’t so someone else can step in. Low commitment. Low structure. Still gets done.

The same countdown syncs to people you invite. When time’s up, devices ring so the group knows it needs Done—not another text thread guessing who owned it.

On each shared timer you see who’s still on the hook, who confirmed Done, who marked Can’t, and who Snoozed—live on the card.

• Done — I handled it (or “everyone must confirm”)
• Can’t — pass the stick so the next free person can take it

RUN LOGS AND CLEAR HISTORY
Every run keeps a trail: who started it, who snoozed or couldn’t take it, who finished it, and when it was missed. Filter by Done, Missed, Snoozed, and Can’t—so “what happened last night?” (or last shift) isn’t archaeology.

GROUPS THAT MATCH REAL LIFE
Create a group, invite with a code, switch when you belong to more than one. Assignees and status stay visible so the handy person—not a pre-booked assignee—can finish the job.

ALARMS BUILT FOR REAL DEVICES
Local schedules and push aim to wake phones when a shared timer fires (permissions and OS settings still matter—not guaranteed every time). Notification diagnostics live in Settings.

Core shared timers free for a limited time. Fair-use limits may apply. Optional paid capacity may come later.

IMPORTANT
CoTimer is coordination software, not a medical device, clinic, medication manager, or emergency service. Use your judgment for anything safety-critical. Alarms and notifications can be delayed or missed depending on Focus modes, permissions, battery settings, and connectivity.
