Imposter Game is a social deduction word game for friends. Give a clever clue, listen for suspicious answers and vote for the player you think is bluffing. Playing as the imposter? Blend in without knowing the word.
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
• Local play: pass one phone around so each player can check their role in secret.
• Online play: create a private room, share the code and let everyone join on their own device.
HOW TO PLAY
Gather your group and set up a game.
Choose a word category and the number of imposters.
Check your secret word or hidden role.
Take turns giving clues, discuss your suspicions and vote.
Reveal the answer and see who fooled the group.
MAKE EACH ROUND DIFFERENT
Explore categories including food, animals, sports, movies and jobs. Adjust the number of imposters and try optional hints to change the challenge.
Play locally with 3 or more people, or create an online room for your group. No account required.
Whether you call it imposter or impostor, the challenge is the same: say enough to fit in without giving the word away.
