Is it legal to record conversations?
Yes, it is legal. As long as whoever decides to record the conversation participates in it. What you should never do is spread the content outside the environment of the judicial process.
The recording with BUROVOZ respects Art. 18.1 of the Constitution: “The right to honor, personal and family privacy and one's own image is guaranteed” and 18.3 of the Constitution: “The secrecy of communications is guaranteed and, especially , postcards, telegraph and telephone, unless a judicial resolution is issued.”
The recording through BUROVOZ can be used as evidence in a judicial or administrative process.
To guarantee the effectiveness and NON-challenge of the evidence, the conversation must be established, recorded and guarded by someone outside the conversation, BUROVOZ.
As BUROVOZ is remunerated by one of the parties (the one requesting the recording) and this could raise doubts about its honesty, evidence is generated by distributed interposition.
To avoid any suspicion about the evidentiary value of the recording and guarantee the unalterability of the content, a digital fingerprint is generated when the conversation ends. This is sent to multiple closed cryptographic servers and each of these servers has an access key, each of them guarded by a notary.
What do we certify?
We certify the authenticity of the recording: since BUROVOZ is the one who establishes the call, it can certify the authenticity; the date, time and duration of the recording, as well as the caller and called numbers.
We ensure the integrity of what is stored thanks to decentralized interposition.
The provision of the certificate issued by the decentralized intermediary creates a solid basis for a favorable judicial evaluation of the evidence.
The decentralized Interposition test is accreditationally robust.
All conversations recorded with Burovoz are lawful and may be provided as evidence in a judicial or administrative process.
