About this app

Cáceres View is an official app of the Cáceres City Council, with comprehensive information about the municipality.

You can view and consult the geographic content of the various available maps.

The information is themed, with access to the Municipal Street Map, Cartography, Orthophotos, Urban Mobility, Services, Planning, Heritage, Historical Archive, and Statistics.

The app allows, among other options:

- Search for street addresses, the toponymy of the Cáceres Municipality, by cadastral parcels, among others.
- Access more information with the (i) button in the button bar.
- Geolocate the user's position on the map with GPS enabled.
- Rotate and reorient the map.
- Tools for approximate area and distance measurements.
- Select base maps.
- Activate and deactivate layers for each map and save user settings to a favorite map.

All information provided comes from the Cáceres SDI map services (ide.caceres.es), managed by the municipal GIS (sig.caceres.es and cacereshistorica.caceres.es).

In addition, this app reuses WMS services from the SDI of Spain, Extremadura, and the General Directorate of Cadastre.

All data is constantly updated by the Cáceres GIS (Cáceres City Council).
