Pixel sorting is a glitch art technique that rearranges pixels in an image by brightness, creating surreal streaking and melting effects. Creative Pixel Sorter brings this effect to your phone with an intuitive touch interface built for experimentation.
FEATURES:
Angle Control
Sort pixels in any direction from 0 to 359 degrees. Drag the scroll wheel, spin the on-screen dial, or type an exact angle. Axis-aligned angles process instantly and diagonal angles are fully supported.
Threshold
Control how much of your image gets sorted. Lower values create long dramatic streaks. Higher values produce short fragmented segments that preserve more of the original photo.
Mask Tool
Paint a mask directly on your image to limit the effect to a specific area. Pinch to zoom in for precision, switch between draw and pan modes, and use undo/redo to refine your work. Optionally extend the mask to the image border with a smooth fade for a natural transition.
Invert
Flip the sort order from dark to light or light to dark for a completely different look with the same settings.
Save and Share
Download your result directly to your gallery or share it to any app on your device.
