With the FNMT Digital Certificate you can obtain your electronic certificate from the National Currency and Stamp Factory in a comfortable and secure way. In just a few clicks you will have completed the entire process to obtain your certificate on your mobile device.

To obtain your certificate by reading your DNIe, simply open the app, click on "Digital Certificate Request" and select the "DNIe Reading" option. This way you can obtain your electronic certificate quickly, easily and for free.

How does it work?

To obtain a certificate through NFC scanning of your ID, follow these steps:

1. Open the app.
2. Select the "Digital Certificate Request" option.
3. Select the "DNIe Reading" option
4. Follow the instructions that appear on your device to read your ID.
5. You can obtain your certificate immediately and free of charge.
Requirements

To access this functionality, you must have an electronic identity document (with an updated version) with active certificates, know the associated PIN code and a mobile device compatible with NFC technology.

Digital Certificate includes the new video-identification system “Identify yourself wherever you are”, which allows you to apply for the certificate completely online quickly, safely and without having to travel. With this new service you will not need to go to a registry office. Now you can do it all from your mobile device!

However, if you wish, you can always go to an in-person registration office to prove your identity completely free of charge.

The electronic certificates issued by the National Mint and Stamp Factory for all citizens have a duration of 4 years. During all that time you will be able to use your digital certificate to carry out your electronic procedures quickly, safely and without having to travel.

A disaster! I have just received an e-mail stating that my certificate is now available clicking on one of the options mentioned in the text. None of them functions. All in all, a lot of time wasted to get the certificate for a zero result.

It's not working and so is not the cl@ve app. When I try to put my email address and click on next I get a window saying "I'm sorry, try again" (Lo sentimos, reintentar). It's very frustrating.

The app says it cannot run on my device due to security reasons. Ironically GrapheneOS is actually much more secure than normal Android.
