Don't use this insurance. I tried to use it but they said that it only applied for US Residents. During the purchase there was no advertisement or notice to inform that detail. I tried to get a refund and they said they couldn't do it. This was for a trip in japan for a knee cap pain. Look for any other option on the market.

Be cautious with these guys. Buying the insurance, in the past, has been inexpensive and easy. I have never tried to make a claim, that would be the true deciding factor for this, however, it's a big red flag when the app, and the website (mobile and desktop) are all buggy. I get an error when trying to purchase, because my end date gets replaced by "invalid date", and there is no way to fix that, also no customer service available (outside of emergencies) on weekends.

WORST Travel insurance so far Been traveling for five years, had April then Chapka, had to change for Heymondo since I was out of Europe for more than 2 years. Worst experience as an insurance so far... easy they didn't pay/reimburse anything, first time I needed them was for a cough in Indonesia, she asked me when it started said approx 1month (didn't know the exact date), we cannot cover any doctor since you started your contract 3 weeks ago!!!
