Designed for ease of use, this app allows you to connect to IGN services and the CNIG download center to obtain maps and routes without any configuration.
With this application, you can explore routes downloaded from the Routes, Leisure, and Free Time section or use your own tracks/routes. Plan excursions using maps, navigation, and guided tours, without needing an internet connection after downloading data.
All maps and routes used are free and allow you to:
- Use GPS location, even without mobile coverage
- View maps offline, saved in advance
- Trace routes (tracks) with GPS on the National Geographic Institute's maps. These can be shared on Strava.
- Save and view tracks in gpx, kml, and kmz formats.
- Track routes loaded into the application.
- Create your own points of interest, with the option to create custom point types and associated forms.
- View your position using coordinates, heading, speed, and altitude. Calculate distances.
- Augmented reality service, with prominent peaks and vertices. Configurable viewing distance of peaks and vertices from the user's position.
- Access to emergency services, with a link to the AlertCops app from the State Secretariat for Security.
- Reporting of cartographic errors to the IGN-CNIG (National Geographic Institute - National Geographic Center).
- The application is available in Spanish and English.
