PideTaxi is the official app to request a taxi in Spain with official rates.

HOW DOES PIDETAXI WORK?

Bad UI/UX. The App often selects taxi drivers in the next town when I stand in front of a Taxi stand with free taxis. I also have to pay for this extra commute. Even though I enter my Position on the map, I'm often asked to find and type the street Name

We visited Spain in Sep 2023. When a planned ride fell through, I found this app on short notice. We then used it twice with no issues - once in Seville and once in Madrid - to schedule a taxi a day in advance of our travel. Provides notifications of taxi on way, estimated time of arrival, and a map with location of the incoming taxi and of your route as you travel. The English interface was greatly appreciated as we speak little Spanish. The app worked fine on my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G.

The taxi overcharged me on purpose. Even though I could clearly see that the taxi was much less. Close to the airport, it was 5 when it stopped, it was 12, but when I paid with the card, it was 20.70 cents. The app is terrible. I was not sure if the taxi was coming or not. I wish I had used my phone to call another company. I took taxis before in Spain, and none of them was so deceitful. Plus, when I wanted to go and complain to the company, I realized that they had no support.
