This is a pretty cool app and it has a lot of potential. but, and maybe this is just me, it seems like there's a serious bug saving and editing songs. for the life of me I can't figure out how to just create and edit a song and have it reliably saved. sometimes things will randomly save and then sometimes just disappear in the my song list. if I could figure this out it would be worth another star in the review for sure.

3/5 for the effort. Purchased the 3 day trial and after a whole day of studying the FAQ to understand the user unfriendly UI and playing around the app, I've concluded it's too cumbersome to use. The library has a limited number of songs/exercises and requires you to create your own songs with chord progressions to practice along which is so time consuming I will just rather sit with my instrument and sing along. Also bluetooth recognition by the app is glitchy and requires rebooting to work.

Hi Ozren, I'm sorry that you were not convinced by MelodEar. Yes you are right MelodEar requires a little time to deepen the understanding but I promiss you this is not a worthless effort. You are right singing with your instrument is always great, but MelodEar could get you further in your ear-training.

Melodear doesn't allow me to save my custom songs. I create a new song, use the UI to build each chord, associated scale, and duration. I'm able to play along and the app works just as described. When I switch songs- the previous song is just gone. It doesn't show up in my songs. I've tried this on my Pixel 8 on the latest android release as well as an old Lenovo tablet running Android 11. Neither work. I'm immeasurably disappointed and will ask for a refund.
