About this app

Blurwise covers faces in your photos and videos — quickly, and entirely on your phone.

It does one job, and does it carefully: find the faces, let you decide which ones to hide, and export a copy with them covered. Nothing is uploaded, because the app has no way to upload anything.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN, NOT BY PROMISE
Blurwise has no permission to access the internet. It isn't a policy we ask you to trust — Android itself prevents it, and anyone can verify it. As a result:
• Your photos and videos never leave your device.
• No ads, no analytics, no accounts, no sign-up.
• Exported files carry no EXIF metadata — no GPS location, no device model, no capture date.
• Your original files are never modified.

HOW IT WORKS
• Pick one or more photos — from the app, or by sharing them to Blurwise from your gallery.
• Blurwise finds the faces in every photo.
• Review them one at a time. Every face starts covered, so a forgotten tap can never leave someone exposed. Tap a face to cover or reveal it.
• The preview shows the real blur, not a placeholder — pinch to zoom in up to 8× and check that a small face is truly unreadable.
• Export the whole batch to your gallery in one tap (Pictures/Blurwise).

VIDEO
Choose a clip, review it as it plays, and export it with faces covered. Videos keep their sound, unless you mute them.

MISSED A FACE? COVER IT YOURSELF
Draw a box over anything the detector didn'tver you can switch on and off, shape, andexport. It's free, because fixing a miss on a privacy tool should never cost anything.

FREE, AND IT STAYS FREE
The phone app is free: no subscription, no in-app purchases, no watermark, no time limit. Up to 5 photos per batch, and video up to 2 minutes at 1080p.

A Blurwise Pro or Studio licence for Windows also unlocks this app — any number of photos at once, longer and higher-resolution video, and every cover style. The key is checked on your phone, offline, and doesn't use up one of your licence's devices.
