DietWise: My Recipe Watch is the official mobile application of the DietWise project, funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe programme (Grant Agreement No. 101181692; CORDIS https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101181692). It is developed by the I-SENSE Research Group of the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), Greece — a DietWise consortium partner (Participant Identification Code 999654356). DietWise: My Recipe Watch helps you assess online recipes and food-related content against nutrition and sustainability criteria. It is designed to support healthier, more sustainable cooking at home and to reduce the confusion caused by conflicting dietary advice online.

When you provide a recipe page address, the application analyzes the visible page content and produces an assessment based on relevant nutritional guidelines and project-defined criteria. It can identify recipe ingredients, highlight areas where a recipe could be improved, and suggest possible ingredient changes. You remain in control: every suggestion can be accepted or rejected, and your decisions help the system evaluate which recommendations are useful in practice.

The DietWise project aims to empower citizens, food influencers, researchers, public authorities, and other stakeholders to create better digital food environments and encourage healthier and more sustainable food choices.

Privacy and data: The DietWise servers fetch the page at the address you provide solely for analysis; the page content is not retained after processing. The application may store the assessed recipe URLs and your decisions on ingredient suggestions for statistical, research, evaluation, and project reporting purposes, consistent with the project's data protection information published at https://dietwise.eu/about/recipewatch/myrecipewatch-privacy-policy/.
