MAKE RECYCLING EASY
"Can this go in the yellow bin or should it be put in the residual waste?" "Do I have to take the cap off the bottle or should I leave it on?" The Digi-Cycle Recycling Guide gives you the answers to your questions about correct disposal for your region. Simply scan the barcode of a product to see how the individual packaging components are to be separated or disposed of for a specific product.
We are continuously working on including more products in the recycling guide. Especially in the early days, however, it may happen that the product you are looking for has not yet been recorded. In this case, you can also use the text search to search for the type of product (e.g. yoghurt pot) in order to receive separation and sorting instructions that are valid for your region.
RECYCLING PAYS OFF
The separate collection of recyclable materials pays off: the environment benefits from the fact that materials are kept in the cycle, and the manufacturing industry gains access to valuable raw materials with a reduced footprint. With Digi-Cycle, correct recycling is now also rewarded: coins and points can be collected as part of campaigns. While you get valuable vouchers for your coins, you contribute with the points you collect to achieve larger goals and thus make a difference together.
This feature is currently being tested as part of a regionally limited campaign in eastern Styria. In the background, however, we are already working flat out on nationwide campaigns so that everyone has the chance to win attractive bonus points. Stay tuned!
