SnapFuchs is your fast, private document scanner for Android. Invoice, contract, certificate, or note: one tap, and the photo becomes a clean, straight PDF. Scanning happens entirely on your device – no account, no cloud, no ads.

YOUR DOCUMENTS REMAIN YOURS

Scanned documents are often sensitive. That's why SnapFuchs deliberately works locally: scanning, rectification, filtering, text recognition, and code reading all run entirely on your device, even in airplane mode. A scan only goes where you send it.

• Your scans are never stored in the cloud
• You don't need an internet connection to scan

WHEN DATA IS SENT OUTSIDE
To keep you fully informed, here are the only instances:

• When you submit the feedback form (message, optionally your email address for the reply)
• When you open a link in the app, such as the privacy policy
• When purchasing and testing the Pro version: This is handled via Google Play Billing, which is why Google Play acts as the payment processor. SnapFuchs itself does not collect or store any payment data.

TRANSPARENCY
In the app, you'll find an overview of all the open-source components used, including their licenses, and a clear explanation of what happens to your scans. There's also a help section with a short tutorial so you can get started right away.


Transparency SnapFuchs is developed by FehlerFuchs, a small business from Germany: small, local helpers that do exactly what they are supposed to do, and nothing else.
