About this app

Frametap is a fast, precise window & door survey tool built for joinery shops, fabricators and installers. Sketch each opening on a touch canvas, capture exact measurements in millimetres, record the full specification, attach site photos, and hand your client a clean, branded PDF — all on site, all offline.

MEASURE LIKE AN INSTRUMENT
• Sketch any window on a touch-first canvas: frames, mullions and transoms
• Place sashes and set opening types — casement, tilt, tilt & turn, fixed and more
• Choose the hinge side; the drawing updates to the real production symbol
• Tap any dimension to type the exact width or height in millimetres
• Arched heads and trapezoid shapes for non-standard openings

SPEC EVERY WINDOW
• Material: uPVC, timber or aluminium
• Profile system, external and internal colour, handle finish
• Glass type per pane, plus free-text notes

CAPTURE THE SITE
• Add photos to each window straight from the camera or gallery
• Draw on photos to mark reveals, damage or access notes

HAND OVER A PROFESSIONAL SURVEY
• Export a branded PDF: cover sheet, per-window drawings, dimensions and full spec
• Send it by email or messaging, or save to files in one tap

WORKS WHERE YOU WORK
• Fully offline — no signal needed in a back bedroom or on a new-build site
• Sign in to keep your surveys backed up and shared with your team
• Available in English, German, Polish and Lithuanian

Frametap keeps the whole survey — drawing, dimensions, spec and photos — in one place, so quotes go out faster and nothing gets lost between the site and the workshop.

No ads. No in-app purchases. Just a precise survey tool that respects your time.

What’s new

Frametap 1.3: sign in with Google, a dashboard that shows where the shop stands, six window templates to start from, undo and redo in the drawing, project status and client notes, itemised quotes priced from your own rate card with a quotation PDF (Pro), glazing and U-value on the spec sheet, copy and rename windows, a preview before any PDF leaves the phone, and the new-window dialog now fits small screens. Sign-in also gets a show-password button and a password reset link.
