Spotify (premium) does not see the receiver while on my phone, however if i use the desktop version my laptop I am able to see both the airplay and DNLA options through my phone (my windows desktop does not have airplay). I'm able to select both and it will play through the speaker and suddenly appear as a playback device on my phone's Spotify, but as soon as I disconnect it disappears with the only way to reconnect is via my laptop.

Hey Scott, please excuse the issue. The current Spotify-app has a broken discovery for internal devices. Can you please update to HiFy's new version 1.3, manually publish the device to Spotify witin the app and try again? Please contact me via e-mail at support@hify.eu for any help :) Kind regards from Germany.

I have been using this for years and it works well. THe music quality is good (that depends I believe on the device from which I stream it) and it can be remotely controlled by other Spotify instances. Only on one device it does not work properly, I believe that must have some wi-fi isues because it disconnects. In fact it would be great if the app reconnected itself after a shor wi-fi latency
