About this app
Inscribed in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the Fallas festivity is a large event celebrated every year in the city of Valencia, Spain. A Falla Monument is made of giant caricature pieces created by local artists that depicts current topics. They are erected at every square of every neighborhood of the City during March 14 to the 19. It is the night of the 19 that all Fallas are burnt to the ground to symbolize the coming of spring, purification and a rejuvenation of community social activity.
My Fallas guide shows a list of all Fallas monuments displayed in the main screen. Users can access them, and see their complete details, including the artist sketch of how the Falla will be built, and its geolocation.
The app allows also to select the favorite Fallas by the user, so they can have easier access to them.
App available in English, Spanish, and French.
