The history of the company Cretan Bakery begins 50 years ago and specifically in 1967 in the bakery of the Pedestrian Union.
Today the Cretan Bakery Gefseis maintains seven stores, the central one in the village of Peza in Heraklion and the remaining six in the city of Heraklion.
We love what we do and we prove it every day by working with every dignity, respect and zeal for our work. Our goal is to highlight in each case the local flavors and the clean and valuable raw materials of our island for this and we work with a small local mill of Mr. Stefanakis where we grind the unique fruits of the Cretan land.
We adhere to all the primary ways of production in terms of taste and quality, we resist industrialization, in order to pass the taste unchanged to the next generation.
