About this app
NumWise is accounting software for sole traders, freelancers and small limited companies in Ireland. Invoices, quotes, expenses, bank transactions and Irish VAT drafts live in one workspace, on your phone and on the web.
Invoices and quotes
Create invoices and quotes, email them to your customers and see what is still due. Turn agreed work into a draft invoice, ready to check. Record payments as they arrive, issue a credit note when an invoice needs correcting, and invoice in another currency with the euro equivalent kept alongside.
Expenses and receipts
Attach a photo or PDF of a receipt or supplier invoice to the cost it belongs to. Choose Read document, then check the values before saving. Document reading uses the allowance included in your plan. Bills you still have to pay stay in view.
Bank, cash flow and reports
Import bank statements to organise transactions and reconcile your records. Review income and costs for any period, with the accounting basis clearly shown. A cash flow forecast shows where your bank balance is heading over the next 30, 60 or 90 days.
Irish VAT drafts
NumWise applies Irish VAT rates to your invoices and costs and prepares VAT summaries and draft VAT3 figures from your records, for you or your accountant to review. NumWise does not file VAT returns with Revenue. Check your figures before filing.
Working with your accountant
Invite your accountant or bookkeeper with a role of their own, so they see the records they need without sharing your login.
On your phone
Sign in with your existing NumWise account to reach the same workspace as on the web. An internet connection is required for business data. If you lose your connection, the app shows an offline notice.
Plans
Access depends on your account and plan. Recurring invoices, payment reminders and additional team members are included only in higher plans. Subscription purchases and invoice payment checkout are not available inside the Android app.
