This application provides access to the liturgy of hours in French.
Why an nth app for the breviary?
To have a version available without requiring any Internet connection (everything is in the application) and correct the shortcomings of existing applications, which all depend on the site aelf.org.
Examples of improvement:
- The possibility of praying the common from the capitula for memoirs (lauds and vespers, see PGLH 235.b).
- The two antiphons are present for the psalms of lauds and vespers in ordinary time;
- The antiphon of the year (A / B / C) for Sunday evangelical hymns;
- The possibility to choose among the 4 Psalms for the invitatory;
- The imprecatory verses;
- The reading of the readings office reliable and well paginée with the last liturgical translation, as well as the readings according to the division over 2 years;
- The possibility to add the clean of a diocese.
It still lacks some saints to seize (for the own nationals).
To come up :
- the possibility of praying optional memory;
- the possibility of composing a personalized office.
