About this app

Stæw keeps track of what is in your home, where it is, and what you can cook from it. Everyone in the household sees the same pantry, the same shopping list and the same toolbox.

Create an account in the app with your e-mail address and start free. To share, the household's owner invites the people you live with, each with their own sign-in (more members need a larger size). Optional subscriptions add more, listed at the end.

PLACES YOU CAN SEE (Organizer)
• Every room, cupboard, shelf and drawer is a place, drawn from templates: cupboards, drawers, fridge, freezer, pantry, wardrobe, shelving, spice rack and more.
• Tap a shelf in the drawing to go inside; each shows how many things it holds.
• Print QR labels: scanning one opens that place.

SCAN IT, PUT IT AWAY
• Scan a barcode and Stæw looks the product up.
• With Organizer, it suggests where it goes, from where you put the same thing before.
• Search forgives typos and missing accents.

WHAT EXPIRES, AND WHAT TO USE FIRST
• Best-before dates, open and sealed units, and how much is left.
• Home shows what expires soon and what is running low.
• With Kitchen, when you open something, Stæw asks if you would rather use the older one first.

THE SHOPPING LIST
• With Kitchen, set stock targets, such as "keep 2 milk at home", and the list tops itself up when stock runs low.
• The list is grouped by the room things go to.
• Scan items into the cart while you shop, then put it all away.

LENDING AND BORROWING (Lending)
• Lend something to a friend, or take it with you, and see what is out.
• Mark what you borrowed and when it goes back. Stæw reminds you; borrowed things never count as your stock.

TOOLS AND TOOLBOXES (Workshop)
• Mark a tool as broken or needing a charge, sharpening or a service, with reminders when one is due.
• Make any box or drawer a toolbox with a list of what belongs in it. Bring it back from a job with a checklist; whatever is missing can go onto the shopping list.

PURCHASE, WARRANTY AND DOCUMENTS (Records)
• Keep when and where you bought something, its price, warranty and serial number.
• With the Household size or larger, attach the receipt, the manual and photos.
• Stæw reminds you before a warranty ends.

WHAT FITS WHAT (Workshop)
• Link batteries, blades and other parts to the tools that take them.
• A drill's page shows which batteries fit, how many you have and where; if you have none, one tap puts one on the list.

MEALS AND RECIPES (Kitchen)
• "What can I make today?" scores over a hundred recipes, from Slovenian to Asian, against what is in the house.
• Ingredients that expire soon push a recipe up; dishes made recently rest for a while.
• Keep your own recipes too.

HOME ASSISTANT (Smart home)
• The integration shows the shopping list as a to-do list, sensors for what expires, runs low or is lent out, and every change as an event.

YOUR KITCHEN, YOUR COLOURS
• Eight colour themes, each in light and dark.
• English and Slovenian.

FREE, AND WHAT YOU CAN ADD
• Free: places as a list, scanning, search, the shopping list, and expiry dates with reminders; 1 member, 6 places, 60 units.
• Organizer: drawings, QR labels, placement suggestions and the space planner.
• Kitchen: meal suggestions, own recipes, "use the older one first", stock targets, projects and use history.
• Lending: people, lending and borrowing, and return reminders.
• Records: purchase details, warranties and documents (documents need the Household size or larger).
• Workshop: tool conditions, charging, toolboxes and what fits what.
• Smart home: Home Assistant and household API tokens.

• Big household size: 12 members, 400 places, 10,000 units, 5 GB of documents.
• Everything: every pack, at the Big household size.
Each is an optional subscription, bought in the app and managed in Google Play. When one ends, nothing is deleted.
