NOTICE: This app has been developed within the framework of two subjects at the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea; The programming has been carried out in the subject "Advanced Telematics Technologies" of the 2nd year of the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, while the design has been carried out in the subject "Curriculum research in teaching materials" of the Minor in Curriculum and resources human rights of the Degrees in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education. Therefore, since the development has been implemented by non-professionals and in a limited time, it is a product that may contain unintentional errors.
Additionally, because it may use a camera/microphone or access external servers, it should not be used by people under 13 years of age without the supervision of an adult guardian.
Matidatzi, the innovative application designed with an inclusive approach, aimed at students with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. The objective of this is to help them obtain and review concepts worked on throughout the Primary Education stage, specifically; mathematics and literacy.
The fun thing about this application is the playful way it offers students to work, this is because the activities are focused in such a way that students review through games. To do this, they will have the opportunity to use different games that will provide them with already worked knowledge, such as; write the number that you will hear in an audio, match the words with the correct image, perform the proposed additions and subtractions...
This application has great versatility in terms of the needs of each student, for this, the APP is adapted so that students with different needs have the opportunity to use it, all the statements and activities can be listened to or read. This ensures that each student has a personalized and accessible experience.
Regarding the composition of the application, you will find 6 activities related to what has been worked on in mathematics and another 6 related to what has been worked on in reading and writing. During the application they will have the opportunity to see what they have answered well and what wrong, since with each activity it will appear if they have done it correctly or incorrectly.
In short, Matidatzi not only seeks to educate, but also inspire and empower students with different abilities and needs. With its inclusive approach and immersive educational interface, this application is presented as an invaluable tool for the academic and personal development of each student.
