About this app

Watch the time tick down to whatever you're waiting for.

Countdowns is a free event countdown app and event discovery app in one. Put a live countdown timer widget on your home screen for a concert, a trip, an exhibition, a game release, or the next meteor shower — and find out what events are happening near you at the same time.

Unlimited events. Full widget. Free, with no subscription and no event limit.

A countdown timer widget for any event
• Create an event in a few simple steps
• Add a live countdown widget to your home screen
• Bookmark any event and set an event reminder for whatever interval suits you — minutes, hours, or days ahead
• No calendar entry to make, no alarm to set

Find events near me
• Open Explore, choose a location, set a radius, and see what's on
• Looking for things to do this weekend, or events near you in a city you're visiting? Search any area on the map
• Browse organizer profiles for their upcoming, ongoing, and past events

Follow local event organizers
• Follow galleries, music venues, observatories, markets, and neighborhood groups
• See their upcoming events in your home feed
• Get a notification when a new event is announced, changed, or cancelled

Global events too
Product launches, game release dates, celestial events — the things that happen everywhere at once, not in one place.

Post your own events
Private, followers-only, or public for anyone to discover. Set your whole profile to private if you prefer.
