About this app
BeWitness app is an initiative to record and receive notifications of crime incidents near you. Users can view the crime hotspots near them (10 km radius) with information about the crime incidents happened and be safe. Users can selectively subscribe to categories to receive alert notifications near them (3 km / 5 km radius) from their current location. In emergencies like SOS (Save Our Souls) situations one can make phone call immediately to Police, Fire, Ambulance or to notify to saved contacts by a single tap, which will also sends a SMS message with current geo-location, so that help can arrive to the location immediately to save the victim from the emergency situation.
