About this app

Iiro helps you plan a trip, estimate timing with stops and share progress with people who are waiting for you.

You can first use Iiro as your own trip planning and timing tool. Plan a route by car, bicycle or walking, add stops, include breaks in the ETA estimate and change the planned departure time to see when you would arrive. You can also adjust the ETA estimate when needed and save frequently used addresses and routes for later.

When you are ready to go, start the trip and share a private encrypted tracking link. The person who opens the link sees the trip progress, estimated arrival time, remaining distance and stops in a web browser. They do not need to install an app, create an account or log in. You can share the same link with several selected people, and multiple viewers can follow the same trip in their browsers.

Iiro is useful for cottage trips, visits, hobbies, work and free-time trips where someone wants to know when you are arriving. Instead of sending repeated “where are you now?” messages, you can share one link and let others follow the progress calmly.

Privacy:

Live trip location data is encrypted on your phone before it is sent. The tracking link key is in the private part of the link and is not sent through the server. Anyone who receives the link can open the shared trip, so share it only with people you want to see your trip.

Iiro does not sell your data or use location data for advertising.

Important:

Iiro is not a navigator, taxi app, transport service, safety system, emergency locator or official tracking service. Use real navigation and your own judgment in traffic. Iiro works where the required network, map and routing services are available.

Iiro makes trips easier to plan and follow without unnecessary accounts, installs or repeated messages.
