ACT Head Impact Tracker is a simple, easy to use, affordable & versatile head measuring and tracking device for impacts and forces acting on a head while doing sports. It can be used in virtually any sport on a dry land. ACT Head Impact Tracker is made for athletes, coaches, trainers, families and friends of athletes to get information on impacts and forces acting on a head, and keep record of them.
ACT Head Impact Tracker head sensor is measures head’s movement and passes on using Bluetooth information to the smartphone with ACT Head Impact Tracker App. App uses mobile data or Wi-Fi to send information to our Cloud.
App enables you to create and manage User Account and Profile(s), add and act with ACT Head Impact Tracker head sensors on your Profile(s), view and receive event information, share your Profile(s) event information with other Users. Currently ACT Head Impact Tracker smartphone mobile App is free to download and use
ACT Head Impact Tracker smartphone mobile App is available for Android 10 or newer Android operating systems only. Functionality on all and every mobile phone brand, model and operating system version has not been tested nor validated, and hence we cannot guarantee that ACT Head Impact Tracker smartphone mobile App will work in every phone. Service features and functionalities
1. MAGNITUDE INFORMATION
Information on the magnitude of forces acting on a head 10g or over is displayed in the App (linear and when applicable angular forces). Graphical illustration on the forces can be accessed by tapping on the chosen impact on the profile’s impact history. The last event is shown on top of the profile page.
2. EVENT HISTORY
Profile’s event history consist of events with forces 10g or over acting on a head from all the sensors added on a profile. It can be accessed in the App by tapping on a chosen profile and green button next to text “Impact history” on the profile page. The last event recorded is displayed on the top of list with information on which sensor has recorded it, when it has been recorded to the system, and an index number of the event.
3. BROWSER ACCESS
Through Browser Access users can access their User Account via internet browser. Access to Browser Access by clicking “Browser Access” link featuring on the bottom boiler of our website www.act-tracker.com. There are two tools there
1. Web User Interface. where you can access all the data on the events (much more than is shown on App) and import Profiles' event data on an applicable spreadsheet.
2. Team Dashboard Beta1 version is a statistics and light analytics tool for coaches, trainers, teams and clubs. (launched in the end of November 2023 for test use for our users)
