What is S-mobile?

S-mobiili brings trade, bank and asset management services into one application.

You can activate the application with any bank credentials or mobile certificate.

What can you do in S-mobile?

Trade services

- Bonus – See e.g. how much Bonus is coming and how close you are to the next bonus level. In addition, you can see the discounts your household has received.
- Digital S-Etukortti - collect Bonus and take advantage of Customer-Owner benefits on the phone.
- My purchases - You can see, for example, the level of domesticity and carbon footprint of your grocery basket, as well as the breakdown of your purchases into different product groups. With the help of family sharing, you can also view the entire family's purchases in the service.
- Benefits and tips – Benefits, benefit coupons, events and announcements targeted at you. When you enable notifications, you will receive information about current benefits conveniently as a push notification.
- Receipts for your purchases - Cash and warranty receipts stored in an electronic receipt archive.
- Bonus locations – Opening hours and directions and the opportunity to give feedback about the location or the product.
- Your own information and that of your client-owner household - Check and edit your contact information and manage the information of your client-owner household.

Bank services

- Identification - Log in and pay with your chosen password or fingerprint instead of online banking credentials - also in online stores and public services.
- Saver - Save along with your daily spending. Direct the Euro savings from each of your card payments or S Group purchases to the Bonus fund.
- Investments – View the funds or your investments, make additional investments in the funds you own and invest in a new fund.
- Loans – Apply for or increase your S-Loan and view your loan information.
- Accounts – View your account balances and account transactions.
- Online salary – View electronic salary statements.
- Cards – Apply for a new card or increase the card's credit limit. Check the card code, edit security limits and view your credit transactions.
- GooglePay – Connect your payment card to the GooglePay application to start mobile payments.
- Payment – ​​Pay bills or transfer money between your own accounts easily and quickly.
- S-Pankki Private – Take advantage of investment and asset management services tailored to your needs. Only visible to S-Pankki Private customers.

You can use S-mobile with a phone with at least the Android 8.0 operating system.

Please note that to use S-mobil you must be a customer owner or belong to a customer owner household. More information on customer ownership: s-kanava.fi

What does S-mobile ask for permission for?

- Location information so that we can offer you the nearest services and the most relevant benefits.
- Using the camera to read the barcode so you can pay bills conveniently.

As a first time user, incredibly frustrating experience. Mobilepay doesn't work and crashes registration process, had to enter all info again. After registration the process crashed again. Now logging in doesn't work. For basic banking app this many bugs on the first try are, on top of being extremely frustrating, quite worrying.

After update can't login. Uninstall this time did not solve the issue... App why I always carry the code list with me, as it's needed more than should. Another bank app works for identifying when S-Mobile has showstopper in production. Good to use, but core quality declines with updates.

Overall does the job, but account screen needs a date filter (from/to) and summing of upcoming expenses. Right now calculating upcoming month's expenses require manually calculating. Please add these basic features. You have them on the web so should be doable on mobile too.
