About this app

Tööttööt is a road sign spotting game. Take a picture of a road sign, the app will recognize the sign directly on your device, and the GPS will confirm your observation against the official Digiroad data. Can you find all the sign types?

RECOGNIZE SIGNS FROM A PICTURE
• Take a picture of a road sign — recognition is done entirely on your device
• Images are not sent to the server: your privacy is safe
• Nearly 400 Finnish road sign types are waiting to be discovered

BUILD A COLLECTION
• Four rarity categories: common, unusual, rare and legendary
• Undiscovered signs appear blurred in the collection — the excitement remains until the end
• The rarest signs are real finds that you dare to tell your friends about

SIGN RADAR (PREMIUM)
• See on the map where the road signs in your area are located
• Search for a specific sign type — even the nearest parking sign in a foreign city
• Radar shows official sign locations from all over Finland (Digiroad)
• Undiscovered signs appear blurred: the radar hints, it's up to you to spot them

GPS CONFIRMATION
• Every sighting is confirmed Against the Finnish Highways Agency's open Digiroad data
• Real spotting: the sign must actually be found on the terrain, not in a book or online

COMPETE
• Leaderboard: compete with friends in the number of signs and rarity
• Achievements and annual summary that you can share with your friends

SAFETY COMES FIRST
• Filming is automatically blocked when the speed exceeds 20 km/h
• Tööttööt is designed for pedestrians and cyclists — spotting never occurs while driving
