Fingerprint App Lock β app lock with fingerprint, PIN and pattern
Fingerprint App Lock is an app lock that puts an extra lock in front of the apps you choose: chat, photos, gallery, social and banking apps. Pick the apps to lock, and Fingerprint App Lock asks for your PIN, pattern or your phone's fingerprint before those apps open.
It locks individual apps on your phone. It does not change your phone's system lock screen.
β APP LOCK FEATURES β
π PIN lock and pattern lock
Choose a 4-digit PIN or a swipe pattern as your main lock. Open a locked app and Fingerprint App Lock shows its lock page over that app, letting it through only after the right PIN or pattern.
π Fingerprint lock β uses your phone's own fingerprint sensor
If your phone has a fingerprint sensor and you have already enrolled a fingerprint in Android Settings, you can turn on fingerprint unlock. The app calls the standard Android biometric prompt: it never reads or stores your fingerprint data, and your PIN or pattern always stays available as a fallback.
ποΈ Voice passphrase β an optional convenience unlock
Set a short spoken phrase. The app uses Android speech recognition to turn what you say into text and compares it with the phrase you saved. Please note: this matches the WORDS you say, not your voice. It does not identify who is speaking, so anyone who says the same phrase can unlock. Use it for convenience and keep your PIN or pattern as your real lock. Requires microphone permission.
π· Intruder photo β off by default
Turn it on and, after the number of wrong attempts you choose, the front camera takes a photo of whoever is holding the phone, with the date and time. Photos are saved only on your device; you can view or delete them any time and switch the feature off whenever you want. Requires camera permission.
π Lock apps by category
Lock a whole group at once β Social, Browsers, Games β instead of picking apps one by one. When you install a new app, Fingerprint App Lock can ask whether you want to lock that one too.

Change how the lock page looks with wallpapers, themes and colour palettes.
π Password recovery
Set a security question and answer while setting up your lock. If you forget your PIN or pattern, answer the question to reset it, so you are never locked out of your own apps.

β’ It does not change, replace or add a lock to your phone's system lock screen β only Android can do that. Fingerprint App Lock locks individual apps.

β’ Accessibility service β to detect which app has just come to the foreground, so the app knows when to show its lock page. It reads only the package name of the foreground app; it does not collect the content of your screen.

β’ Camera β only to take an intruder photo after failed unlock attempts, and only if you turn that feature on.
β’ Microphone β only while you speak your voice passphrase, if you set one up.
