About this app

Evermix DJ is the free companion app to the MixBox DJ Set Recorder.

Together they allow you to easily record your mixes in high quality, export recordings to the cloud, add HQ audio to your live streams & videos, and digitise your vinyl collection, all without interruption. You can safely leave your device on the lock screen, and recordings continue, same for playback - take your recently recorded mix and play back using your device.

Evermix uses foreground services for the following purposes:



DJs & Promoters! Thousands of hours of live electronic music are being lost! RECORD your DJ sets live from the club, straight to your phone. Export and SHARE your music with fans around the world.

Live stream sets with HQ audio across Facebook Live, YouTube, Instagram, and most major platforms.

Audio Recording
Evermix uses a microphone foreground service to capture audio from your device during DJ set recordings. This service runs only while you are actively recording,
displays a persistent notification showing the elapsed recording time, and keeps the device CPU active to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality audio capture for
sessions up to 4 hours. It stops immediately when you end the recording.

Audio Processing
Evermix uses a data sync foreground service to perform audio post-processing on your recordings, including volume normalisation and audio enhancement. This
service runs only while processing is in progress, displays a progress notification so you can track completion, and keeps the device CPU active to prevent the
task from being interrupted. It stops automatically once processing is complete
