Downloading, installing, and registering were easy. Adding artists also easy. However, after adding 12 straight artist who are not in the app, I'm not entirely sure of the point. Not surprised, since everything on the website talks about being focused on music, yet no mention of being able to actually listen to music. I know this platform is new, but... where's the music? I like the formula behind it, but I gotta keep my Spotify if I want to LISTEN to anything.

listed as a music service app. subscribed, and cannot stream music, it opens spotify instead. this is not a music service app. it is in essence a forum in an app. each artist and song is the forum post, and you can comment in those. it's essentially a really awkward social media app. not music service. I appreciate what they are trying to do, but it feels like a scam as currently implemented. shame, because it's a great idea.

Hey Chris! It looks like we've done a poor job of explaining what is part of the free tier vs the paid tier. All the social elements and external link that you described are free for everyone. Medallion FM (the paid tier) gives you access to exclusive artist content from certain artists. Can we continue this conversation at support@medallion.fm?

interesting app that could have serious legs if it became a sort of letterboxd for concerts. downloaded for the mmj one big family content but dig the concept of the concert diary, the UI is just terrible. can't see what you're writing while you're typing, save button is hard to access, and you can't edit shows once you've saved them, only delete and start over. hopefully they keep tinkering.
