Ratings and reviews

I think this app is great for playing. It doesn't let you analyze moves during the game, which I like. Maybe I would say that the analysis function after a game (called "edit" in the app) is a little awkward to use. Some of the reviews are saying the matching is unfair, which I haven't noticed after my rating settled after about 40 games. The komi is very large, at 7 points for all board sizes, which seems at my level to give on advantage to white on a small board, but it's not so bad.

My rating would be 5 stars but there appears to be a new requirement of linking an email/Twitter account otherwise the search for a game will hang. When I try to add my email it takes me to a web page not in English and gives me an error I can't read. I just want to play some quick games of go.

EDIT: subtracted a star because of the way the game handles bad connections. I actually lost a game on time because the seconds wasted in waiting for the connection were taken off *my* time, so the timer jumped from 12 seconds to 0 (and time out) when my opponent's move finally appeared. Please fix! (Orig) Nice way to get a quick game. I would pay a few bucks for an ad-free version. Addition: can you share a game with an sgf extension instead of txt? That way I can open it directly in BW-Go.
