The Via Janus app allows any smartphone or tablet owner, in total autonomy and 7 days a week:

Janus the Elder and Janus the Younger thus describe the operation of the thermal baths, the route followed by the Romans to the baths and the sometimes surprising details of daily life in this unmissable high place of any Roman city.
- to access educational files, in particular on the Château de la Wasenbourg, a site undoubtedly at the origin of the establishment of the famous Roman legion legio VIII Augusta around Niederbronn-les-Bains. The “two” Janus also present some examples of the remarkable collection of ancient objects visible at the Maison de l’Archéologie des Vosges du Nord, located 500 m from the site, including a bust of Janus himself.
- view a 3D reconstruction of the ancient building as it must have appeared in the 3rd century AD. This reconstruction was carried out under the direction of the Maison de l'Archéologie des Vosges du Nord, based on the foundations brought to light and the spa architecture typical of the region at the time in question. For those whose smartphone allows it (the vast majority of the current fleet), it is also possible to view this reconstruction of the building in augmented reality, that is to say to see it appear directly on its real foundations through the camera. from his phone.
