About this app

Follow in the footsteps of Benjamin RABIER, famous designer of the "Laughing Cow" and "Duck
Gideon ”, through a 90 km soft roaming circuit. Located at the Portes de Val de Loire and
of its many castles, north of the Department of Indre, the Benjamin Discovery Trail
RABIER is passable on foot, by bike or on horseback. Municipal loops of 5 to 10 km maximum
also complete this itinerary. Marked by the French Hiking Federation,
it is recognized GR de Pays (red / yellow markings).
This path is turned towards the work of Benjamin RABIER on one side, the discovery of the landscapes and the
natural heritage, on the other. Today it helps to shed light on the life and work of
Benjamin RABIER and helps to understand changes in uses, landscapes,
geomorphology and biogeography based on two different eras: that of
Benjamin RABIER and that of today.
