About this game

Turn a notebook into an arena. Penwar is a solo first-person shooter drawn with ballpoint pen, crayons and bright highlighter strokes.

Aim at an enemy to fire automatically. Move with your left thumb and look around with your right. Climb stairs, jump, dodge projectiles and switch between a rifle, shotgun and sniper rifle.

SIX WORLDS TO EXPLORE
• Courtyard: rooftops, stairs and a slide.
• Park: trampolines and colourful platforms.
• Sky: floating islands and an automatic parachute.
• Forge: lava, launching geysers, leaping salamanders and mortar crabs.
• Icefield: slippery ground, wind gusts, charging penguins and snowmen whose shots slow you down.
• Lab: portals, low gravity, flying drones and electric coils.

Survive five waves in each world. Pick upgrades between waves, collect health and ammunition, and beat your local best score. All six worlds and all three weapons are available from the start.

OFFLINE BY DESIGN
No account, ads, in-app purchases or multiplayer. The game works without an Internet connection. Best score and settings stay on your device; a run is not saved after the app process closes.

Seven built-in languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese and Indonesian. Penwar uses your phone’s language, with English as fallback. The globe icon lets you choose another language. Play in landscape with touch controls.
