Line of 5 is a simple puzzle to learn but difficult to master. The only rule: add dots to the grid to form lines of 5. Each line you draw is worth one point. How far can you go before you get stuck?
★ THE PRINCIPLE
You start with a 36-dot windmill-shaped figure. Each turn, you place a new dot on an empty intersection. It must complete a line of 5, horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. The new dot can be placed at the end of the line or in the middle, giving you many strategies.
Be careful: a new line can only share one dot with an existing line. Every move counts. A well-placed dot creates new possibilities, while a poorly placed one can block you much sooner than expected.
The grid expands as the game progresses. The game ends when there are no more possible moves.
