About this app

THE ANNECY APP

Discover UP, an app that brings together several services and experiences in a single interface.

In this version, UP lets you discover places and events in Annecy with Soirée Annecy, explore the city with Explore, play games with friends with Curseur, manage shared expenses with Split, and track your progress within the app.

ANNECY NIGHTS OUT

The Soirée Annecy module lets you:

• view a map of bars listed in Annecy;

• discover establishments near you;

• open a bar's detailed profile;

• view information available for each establishment;

• see upcoming events;

• see reactions associated with the venues;

• get directions to an establishment.

Some features use your location to display places near you and make navigating Annecy easier.

EXPLORE

Explore invites you to explore Annecy to discover and collect digital elements scattered throughout the city.

You can:

• View the different points to discover on a map;

• Move to the indicated location;

• Collect a digital illustration when you are close enough to its position;

• Find these collected illustrations in their collection;

• Track your progress in the available collection.

Explore uses your location to determine when you are near a point to discover.

CURSOR

Cursor is a party game to play with friends based on clues and interpretation.

One player gives a clue corresponding to a position on a scale between two extremes. The other players must then try to place their cursor as close as possible to the expected position.

The more precise your placement, the more points you score.

SPLIT

Split helps you manage expenses shared between several people.

You can:

• Create a spending group;

• Add participants;

• Record expenses;

• Indicate who paid;

• Distribute the amounts among the participants;

• View the amounts each person owes.

Split is used solely for calculating and tracking expenses. No money transfers are made directly within the application.

POINTS AND RANKING

Certain actions performed in UP allow you to collect points.

Your profile allows you to view your point total and your position in the application's ranking.

USER PROFILE

UP includes a profile section where you can view information related to your account, your points, and associated features.
