About this app

DicteeFun is the dictation app that transforms spelling practice into a positive experience for children from first to fifth grade. You, the parent, set up the app. Your child plays the dictation and progresses at their own pace.

Five character voices
Your child chooses who will dictate the text from among five character voices. Dictation becomes a game, and the desire to do it again returns.

Three adaptive support levels
The support is adjustable to three levels and adapts to the child's level. When it's more difficult, the support is more present. As the child progresses, it disappears. The child remains successful, without getting discouraged.

Create a dictation from a photo
Take a photo of the lesson, the word list, or the dictation from the notebook. DicteeFun reads it and transforms it into a ready-to-play audio dictation. You save time and stay on track with the teacher's assignment.

A keyboard designed for practice
The twelve essential French accents and characters are directly accessible. No suggestions or predictive text while typing: the child truly writes independently and retains the spelling.

A dashboard for parents
You can track your child's dictations and progress in seconds. You know where they stand and what still needs work.

All primary school levels
DicteeFun covers dictation for grades 1-5 (CP, CE1, CE2, CM1, and CM2). The texts and support adjust to the chosen level. Whether your child is beginning to read or preparing for middle school, the app tracks their progress in spelling and French dictation.
