Barbu is played with real cards, around a real table. Easy Barbu does not play for you: it keeps the score sheet, and it keeps it right.
No more scribbled paper, no more sums redone three times, no more argument over the slam in the third hand. You enter what each player took, the app does the rest.
WHAT IT SCORES
• Classic Barbu — 4 players, 32 cards, six contracts, twenty-four hands, following the most widespread French rules.
• Tournament Barbu — 52 cards, seven contracts, doubling, as played by bridge players.
• Provençal Bombu — the southern version, where points are penalties.
• Three-player Barbu, Barbette and Yale Barbu — three variants from elsewhere, rarely described in French.
YOUR TABLE'S RULES, NOT SOMEBODY ELSE'S
Barbu has no official rules. The king of hearts costs 40 points here and 80 there; some tables make the king of spades the Barbu, others add jacks or the last tricks. Easy Barbu does not decide for you.
Everything is adjustable: number of players, pack size, which king plays the Barbu, active contracts, the value of every card, slams, doubling, direction of play, the order of contracts, and how the leader's role travels round the table. Save your scoring set under its own name and find it again every game.
ENTRY DESIGNED FOR THE TABLE
Every contract has its own screen. Counters for tricks and cards, a simple tap for the Barbu and the last tricks, the finishing order for Dominoes — called, random, or set to a rank of your choice. The Salade scores every contract at once, with the detail column by column.
Slams are detected and paid automatically. Doubling is entered by ticking who doubled whom, and the app settles every pair, redoubles included.
AFTER THE GAME
The standings, the totals round by round, and nine trophies for those who stood out: the one who escaped the tricks, the one who never saw a queen, the slam ace, the lucky one at Dominoes, and the Phoenix for the finest climb in the standings.

THE RULES AT HAND
The complete rules of all six versions are included, along with a history of the game and a glossary of some thirty terms. For a scoring set you adjusted yourself, the rules are rewritten from your own settings: they always describe what is actually being played.
