► What are the benefits for DRIVERS?

💰 Save money without constraints! €0.50 per journey offered between 2 municipalities, and an additional €1 for each passenger transported.

⛽ Save on your car budget: STAR compensates you €1 for each journey declared, once you have actually passed near at least 2 stops in two different municipalities. This compensation is paid to you for the provision of your free seats, whether or not there is a passenger on your route (within the limit of 1 journey per hour).

⚡⌚Real-time journey: you are notified of the presence of passengers at stops via the application and roadside light signs!

🟢🔓 Without constraints: teleworking on certain days? No problem, there is no commitment to regularity and you declare your journeys according to your availability.

⚡ No need for a reservation: go to the nearest star't stop, enter your destination in the app or by SMS, wait at the stop. A few minutes later, a driver stops to take you to your destination stop. To reduce your waiting time, you can even anticipate your carpooling request up to 30 minutes before your arrival at the stop.

🚕Carpool with peace of mind: departures are guaranteed: if no driver can provide the journey, a dedicated vehicle will come and pick you up. You don't have to pay anything and telephone assistance is with you until your departure!
👼 Support and secure journey: if necessary, we offer personalized support in real time by telephone throughout your journey.

🎁Earn STAR loyalty points: the more you carpool. the more STAR loyalty points you earn, valid with STAR partners.

► How does it work?
start't uses public transport codes to offer you a service in which you are the actors! Thanks to the star't stops present on your journeys, carpool without reservation with people going in the same direction as you. Drivers declare their journey upon departure. Passengers make their request at start't stops and are picked up by a driver within minutes.

A service which is now being organized in part of the Rennes Métropole territory.
