About this app

The "Pass'Neige" is a device of the French Ski Federation (FFS) which allows in each discipline to promote the improvement of licensees, both leisure and competitor, by an awareness, continuously and without examination, of his technical, behavioral, physical and mental skills specific to each level of practice. This specific device, allowing long-term monitoring, is intended for FFS licensees.
The Pass'Neige is part of the practice development policy of the FFS (Federal Sports Plan) as well as its system put in place to allow athletes to reach the highest level of their discipline and ensure their training. and their preparation for professional life (Federal Performance Project).
The Snow Passes thus form the basis of the national technical guidelines of the FFS.
The "Pass'Neige FFS" application allows supervisors of federal structures (club, ski committee, etc.) to monitor the progress of practitioners of all ages and to set development goals in each skill area. Currently only the discipline of alpine skiing is functional on the application, the contents of the other disciplines are under development.
The Snow Pass was developed to promote the practitioner's self-esteem by highlighting their progress in a unique way.
Self-assessment is possible to promote access to independence.
The benchmarks provided must allow the supervisors to then offer practitioners stimulating, combinatorial situations adapted to each one for the 4 skill sectors which bring out solutions specific to each skier.
For optimal use of the Pass'Neige FFS app, it is recommended to have followed a presentation on the practice site by federal trainers in order to become familiar with the educational process.
The application makes it possible to create, within a federal structure, one or more groups of skiers supervised by one or more supervisors and to make a continuous assessment of the development of each person's various skills.
In each of the skills, the application presents the different benchmarks that validate the acquisition of skills by recording the follow-up that can be shared with the various supervisors. Depending on the playing field or the equipment available, it is not necessary to go through all the benchmarks to validate a level.
Skill development is tracked through a synoptic visualization of all skill sectors, but also more precisely sector by sector.
