GOAT FC is a football quiz for those who know squads, transfers, and career paths—not just the stars. More than 5,600 players and 1,500 clubs, updated every transfer window.
FIVE WAYS TO PLAY
THE PLUG — Two clubs, one player who has worn both shirts. String together correct answers before the timer runs out. Three levels, from the easiest to the trickiest.
THE TRANSFER WINDOW — Start with a player and work your way back through their career, club by club. The longer the chain, the more you score.
GOAT GRID — A nine-square grid, cross-referenced criteria in rows and columns. Find a player who ticks both boxes each time. Three lives, a new grid every day.
GOAT GUESS — Think of a footballer, current or retired. The Fortune Teller asks you questions and usually finds the player in about twenty attempts.
FIND THE PLAYER — Six attempts to identify a mystery player. Each guess reveals clues — nationality, region, position, age, club — with feedback similar to Wordle. The path remains hidden: pure deduction.
PLAY AGAINST REAL PLAYERS
Online duel without a code: we find you an opponent and you play the same series of clubs, each on your own. Or create a private room and share the code with your friends.
GOAT GRID can also be played versus, with up to eight players on the same grid, in two minutes.
A LEADERBOARD THAT'S EARNED
Your best score of the day, in each mode, earns points — up to a cap. Playing the same mode twenty times doesn't earn you anything extra: to climb the leaderboard, you have to play several modes over several days. The champion of the month enters the Hall of Fame.
THE RIDDLE OF THE DAY
A mystery player every day, the same for everyone, with their club and position as the only clues. A series to keep up: come back tomorrow for the next one.
A COLLECTION TO UNLOCK
Your experience unlocks twenty-nine collectible cards. The last one you obtain becomes your profile picture. Display your flag next to your username.
NO ACCOUNT, NO FORM
You choose a username and you play. No email address, no password. A recovery code lets you retrieve your progress on another device.
