About this app

Hector Rondes is the guard tour app of the Hector Controle de Rondes service, designed for private security companies.

A security officer taps an NFC tag at each checkpoint. Every scan is timestamped by the server and written to a tamper-evident, chained journal, so the round becomes real proof of passage for the client who ordered it.

WHAT THE OFFICER DOES
- Activate the phone once with the code issued by the manager portal.
- Identify yourself before each round (optional PIN).
- Start a round, then scan each checkpoint tag.
- Report an incident with a photo and a comment.
- Take free photos at any time during the round.
- Close the round and get an immediate summary.

WORKS WITHOUT NETWORK
A round can be started, carried out and closed completely offline. Scans, photos and incidents are queued on the device and synchronised as soon as connectivity returns. Field time is preserved: the round is recorded at the hour it actually happened, not at the hour it was uploaded.

BUILT-IN PROOF
- Server-side timestamping and a hash-chained journal.
- GPS captured only at the moment of a scan.
- Backup codes are disabled by default; when enabled they require a reason and are flagged in the report.
- Data retained for a limited period and stored encrypted.

FOR MANAGERS AND CLIENTS
Rounds, incidents and reports are consulted from a separate web portal. The company sees everything; the client who ordered the service sees only its own sites, with officer data minimised.

REQUIREMENTS
- Android phone with NFC.
- Google Chrome installed (the NFC tag reader relies on it).
- An account and an activation code provided by your company. This app is not usable without them.
