A dark forest, a lantern, and shadows lurking among the trees.
DaZel is a top-down deduction game. Each square you step on reveals the number of shadows hidden in the eight adjacent squares. It's up to you to read these numbers, identify the danger, mark what you know for sure with a cairn, and reach the portal without losing your hearts.
- No dice rolls: each level is checked by a solver before being released. A DaZel grid is always deduced—it will never force you to gamble.
- Four regions, four sets of rules: the Forest, the Cave (no chain reactions), the Mountain (rocks that disrupt neighboring areas), and the Desert (not a single torch).
- Hundreds of levels of increasing difficulty, an endless mode, and a daily challenge.
- Three ways to get stuck: the torch, the sure thing, and the big picture.
- No ads, no purchases, no data collection. Playable offline.
