About this app

RC Pit Clock helps you manage your nitro RC races, from preparation to the final fuel stop.



The app helps you plan your fuel strategy, keep track of it during the race, and monitor your pace and remaining fuel.



FUEL AUTONOMY



Fill the tank, run the car for a measured amount of time, then enter how much fuel is left.



RC Pit Clock calculates your real-world tank autonomy and saves it for your next races.



RACE PLANNER



Enter your race duration, tank autonomy and average lap time.



RC Pit Clock automatically calculates:

• the number of fuel stops;

• when to make each stop;

• the duration of each stint;

• the margin available on each tank.



You can see straight away whether your strategy is comfortable, tight or beyond the tank's autonomy.



DURING THE RACE



Once the race starts, you don't need to do the calculations yourself.



The app shows the time remaining in the current stint and how many laps that represents, while keeping track of your remaining fuel range.



Simply press the lap button each time you pass the pits to keep track of your laps. And if you miss a press, the app can handle it.



Alerts warn you 30 seconds before the planned stop, 10 seconds before, and when it's time to pit. Each alert has its own vibration pattern, while the most important alerts can still be heard even when your phone is on silent.



With Adaptive Refuel, the remaining stops can also be recalculated if you pit earlier or later than planned.



Race mode helps prevent accidental touches, and you can choose to keep the screen on throughout the race.



AFTER THE RACE



Review your stints, fuel stops, deviations from the original plan and average pace.



LAP TIMER



A standalone lap timer for practice sessions, with lap times, best lap, last lap, lap count and total time.



RACE DAY SCHEDULE



RC Pit Clock can also help you manage the rest of your race day.



Enter your club's schedule manually, or let the app read it from a photo or PDF of the timing board.



The app identifies heats, races and marshal duties, and highlights anything it isn't confident about.



Select your heat and see directly on the home screen:

• your next race;

• your next marshal duty;

• an alert before your race, with a configurable warning time.



If you race in two categories, you can select two heats. The app will warn you if the schedule puts you in two places at the same time.



DISPLAY



7 available themes, with English and French language support.



Important information is not communicated through color alone: different states also use shapes and icons to make them easier to distinguish.



ALERTS



A dedicated screen checks the phone settings that could prevent notifications and alarms from working correctly, and guides you to the relevant settings.
