The “zero phyto” rule forces communities to rethink the maintenance of their public spaces. While some companies are turning to non-chemical substitutes, others are opting for eco-grazing, a technique for maintaining green spaces through the action of animals. Absence of noise and olfactory nuisances, maintenance of difficult areas, regained biodiversity... and in addition a low carbon footprint.
Mon Berger Local allows owners of grazing plots (companies, individuals, communities, etc.) to find a geo-located shepherd less than 50 kilometers away. The app is FREE for professional breeders who practice eco-grazing (the breeding number is mandatory). It is also free for owners of 1 to 5 plots (a subscription of €500 per year is required for unlimited use of the tool).
An interactive map makes it very easy to visualize the breeders and the grazing offers near their homes. Just click on the icon to discover the contact details of each member of the network, but also details on the herd, photos, additional services... but also the information provided by the owner or manager of the plot (area , slope, access, fences or not, type of vegetation, etc.).
For a fair remuneration for eco-grazing, it is the breeder who offers the price of his service according to his constraints (remoteness, number of parks and animals, etc.).
Created in January 2021, Mon Berger Local already offers several hundred plots: abandoned motorways, active SNCF network or disused lines, photovoltaic parks...
