About this app

The RéACTIF application is a specialized cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) aid for emergency medical teams, mobile intensive care units (SMUR), critical care units, and more broadly, all teams involved in the management of cardiac arrest. RéACTIF is designed for all CPR personnel: physicians, nurses, paramedics, and nursing assistants.

RéACTIF is a cognitive aid similar to a timekeeper that integrates the timers necessary for the precise management of recommended timeframes for heart rhythm analysis and medication administration during cardiac arrest.
The RéACTIF application improves the quality of CPR, and its integration into specialized resuscitation strategies is now widely encouraged by learned societies. Simulation studies demonstrate that this type of application increases confidence and reduces the mental workload of CPR teams, while significantly limiting deviations from recommendations, particularly regarding adherence to timeframes for rhythm analysis and medication administration.

RéACTIF provides time-stamping for all care and CPR sequences necessary to accurately complete medical records, logs for research purposes, and team evaluations during debriefings.

The RéACTIF application thus fulfills the dual objective of improving the quality of CPR and optimizing the accuracy of times entered in logs.

Adult CPR Features:

• Timers and counters for monitoring heart rhythm analysis, shocks, and medication administration.

• The application is designed for optimal usability and ease of use.

• Events can be entered at any time via a comprehensive context menu (IV infusion, intubation, etc.).

• The application offers a "cognitive aid" tab for accessing useful resources (algorithms, reversible causes, theoretical ideal weight calculator, ventilator settings, etc.).

• An audible metronome with an adjustable frequency (100 to 120 bpm).

• An option to cancel the last entered command with haptic feedback to prevent handling errors in emergencies.

• A RACS (Return of Spontaneous Circulatory Activity) mode with a reminder of all times, an 8-minute ECG timer, and the ability to resume CPR while retaining the timers.

• Finally, a complete, time-stamped report of actions performed during CPR, with the option to export the report in PDF format.
Pediatric CPR Function:

• Designed to take into account the specific needs of pediatric CPR by adjusting dosages according to weight.

• Weight calculator based on age (in months or years)
• Dosage calculator based on weight for energy delivered during shock (4 J/kg), administration of Adrenaline (0.01 mg/kg), and Cordarone (5 mg/kg)
Neonatal CPR function:
• A timer locked at 30 seconds for heart rate analysis
• A timer for Adrenaline if indicated
• A counter for fluid resuscitation if indicated
Settings:
• This tab allows you to modify the time intervals for administering treatments between 3 and 5 minutes as recommended.
